Jacob's Internship Experience

Hi,
I'm Jacob Smith and I am currently attending Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colorado. I am majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Finance. My future career goals are to become a youth motivational speaker and a global safety advocate. Throughout the past few years, I have been commited to educating youth and adults about safe driving while focusing on Drugged, Drowsy, drunk and distracted driving. This has opened up doors for me to do more across the nation as an advocate. 

I have been given the oppourtunity to intern in Washington, DC this fall.  Not only will this unpaid internship experience give me college credit, but will also enhance my educational experience. I will get hands on work experience. This internship 4 months long. Below are a few incredible experiences that will be given to me. Not limited to... :) 

- Assist in leading major global road safety campaigns for children. 
- Assist with the development of a Teen Safe Driving Program 
-Network with Global injury prevention professionals 
-Gain invaluable experience in government and federal policy and administration. 
- Professional Development activities 

This experience means so much to me as many of you know how passionate I am about traffic safety. I have been using my experience to be a changemaker and this internship will definitely contribute. I hope you're able to contribute any amount that will help pay for all of my expenses in DC. Throughout the 4 months I will have to pay for rent, utilities, food, travel and much more.  Please support me with any amount.
