Adopt- My Life Was Forever Changed For The Better

Hi! My name is Jason Christopher (Jay) and most of you already know who Jackson is. For the past 12 years Jackson and I have had the great fortune of traveling and adventuring together mostly in the Adirondack High Peaks of New York State, but also 2 trips across the country many years ago. For the past 3 years I’ve documented our adventures on Instagram and Facebook under the name Jackson’s Journey’s through pictures and short stories, resulting in Jackson becoming a recognized face in our local hiking community. Tomorrow we will be setting off on a road trip heading towards the great southwest to meet with friends and do some exploring, along the way I will document the trip through my usual pictures and run-on sentences on Jackson’s Insta account. I set up this fundraiser not only as a way to give back to the rescue organization that united Jackson and I, but also as a way to raise awareness for all animal shelters and rescue organizations around the state and country. I would as much appreciate for anyone reading this to think about volunteering, fostering, or adopting at your local animal shelter, as I am the last person to ever ask for any sort of money or donation,  but what I am asking here is if you enjoy following Jackson, or you’ve always wanted to help but didn’t know how, or you want to help but just don’t have the time, please consider making a contribution here to Homeward Bound Dog Rescue of New York, Ltd., any donation will help make an impact. Homeward Bound is a not for profit volunteer organization. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and share one common passion - we love dogs, all kinds of dogs. We were formed because we saw many young, happy, healthy puppies and young dogs being euthanized in shelters because there was no foster space or other rescue groups with room to take them until their forever home could be found. Our focus is finding those family dogs who just need a little more time and exposure, and helping them find homes
