JOY to Woman's Transitional Shelter

In the spirit of the Holiday Season, this Dec 22, 2013 from 2pm to 7pm Santa and his elves will bring joy to an Orange County Women's Learning and Transitional Shelter by painting two bedrooms, steam cleaning carpets, organizing (library, pantry & storage rooms), deep cleaning the interior of the facility, tuning up the landscaping, entertaining the 21 women and 30 children that live there. Santa will bring wrapped gifts the children or mothers requested, portraits of the families with Santa will be taken and dinner for approximately 100 people will be provided as well. Women are allowed to live on site with their children for up to 90 days and are assisted with childcare, job placement, counseling, safety and a fresh start. Your contribution for the food, gifts and supplies to this very special event would be greatly appreciated by the women, children, staff members and approximately 40 volunteers.
