Family in Crisis Needs Help after Superstorm Sandy devastates their home and compounds already dire financial struggles of raising four young boys including one son with special needs and another with an uncommon medical condition.
Struggling to provide a family of four (4) young boys (one with special needs) with all of the normal day to day physical, spiritual, and emotional needs can be challenging enough for a hard working husband and loving wife. Then along came Superstorm Sandy which devastated their home filling it with a 3 foot of water from the fast moving storm surge which severely damaged their home and you have a Family in Crisis that needs our help.
John and Wendy are a family centered couple who are doing their best to raise their four boys Justin, Nicholas, Brandon, & Gavan. They are facing their daily challenges with courage and determination, but find themselves in over their heads and they need a helping hand from those of us who care about our fellow brothers and sisters in need.
Since the destruction from Superstorm Sandy, they have lived in a small trailer and have been able to repair their home and have moved back in. At this time, the goal of this campaign is to help this amazing young family raise $16,000 to $20,000 to raise their home above the 100 year flood elevation to avoid another catastrophic flood.
Goal is to raise funds within the next 3 months.
