JACE NEEDS EMERGENCY SURGERY

 
In July, '17, my buddy Jace, 'the Great' Dane, developed a small 'marble-sized' lump on his right side. I immediately brought him into the office to have it checked out. At that time, we were told it didn't appear to be serious and just to keep an eye on it. As of January, '18, it began growing in size, rapidly. 

Jace is an active boy, with the heart of a lion & the energy of a lab puppy. He loves going anywhere, and doing anything- but always while running and playing/socializing with all of his friends. He is 'that' goofy dog, who puts a smile on your face, even on the worst of days. Simply put-He's the best. 

On March 13th, '18, I took Jace into see his new vet, Premier VetCare, here in Smyrna, TN. The compassion and empathy of the staff at this facility are untouchable by any other clinic we've ever visited. This, however, didn’t make hearing the news any less heartbreaking. 

The x-rays taken that day show a large tumor dangerously close to Jace's (big) heart. As the tumor quickly continues to grow, it will internally apply more and more pressure on his organs- without the medical treatment Jace needs, he will prematurely die of heart failure.

Our vet feels strongly that this is operable and with treatment, Jace's outcome could be very positive. I am hopeful that we can give Jace the opportunity for a second chance at life and several more happy years.

We do not have much time and are literally running against the clock to save Jace's life. Any help or donations would be so greatly appreciated.
