Izyk's Walk with God as He Fights Cancer

Our dearest Friends and Family,
Eighteen years ago, God blessed us with a wonderful son, Izyk Vang. Through life's trials of roller coaster rides with feelings of fear, excitement, joy, anxiety, determination, optimism, and facing the unknown, he discovered that with faith in God, he can do anything. He has a passion for worship. He is the guitar player in his worship band at Green Bay Hmong Alliance church (city of the Packers). He loves to play basketball and pick on his 3 younger siblings, Jordan, Rikki, and Justice. But, he's a good role model for them. He aspires to attend Crown College to serve our Lord and Savior. He was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare type of muscle cancer, in June 2013. This fight with cancer is just another stepping stone he has to take as he journeys through touching each person's life until we meet together in God's beautiful kingdom. Only God's gift of having you, his family and friends, makes the most difference of all as we're all made to support and love one another because Jesus first loved us. We would appreciate any amount you can give towards medical bills, whether great or small, even $5 would make a difference and you can give anonymously if you choose to do so. 1 Corinthians 13
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self- seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain:faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

"Jesus took pain and died for all of our sins. He sacrificed his life just so we can live and have freedom. His blood was shed on that cross for us even though we as humans don't deserve it. We are not worthy at all but he continues to love us unconditionally and forgives us. He took upon the greatest sacrifice and through that we can testify about his great name."
Overall, I just want to thank you all who has been praying for me all this time and I feel so blessed that Jesus put all of you in my life even if I don't know you that well or if I have known you for a long time now. God has put you all in my life for a reason and I praise him for that. I encourage you all to keep living life every day to bring Praise and Honor to his name for we don't know his coming but all we can do is continue to do what we are called to do.
