Izaiah's Road To Recovery

As many of you know Izaiah was invovled in a "freak accident" Tuesday night while playing tag/hide and go seek with other children.  During the accident he had several hundred pounds of tables come crashing down on his stomach.  He was transported to the local hosptial then air cared up to Iowa City shortly after. 

Izaiah has suffered 4th degree lacerations to his liver, which is pretty severe (especially with him still being a little guy).  Izaiah is in a lot of pain and has been spiking fevers thoughout the day.  On Thursday they placed a gastric tube and a catheter to try to give some relief, gain answeres, and avoid surgery. 

Unfortunately as of an hour ago Izaiah has been taken down for an emergency laparotomy to open up his stomach through a large incision to try to find out what is going on. 

Izaiah is the big brother to three sisters (one of which is still a newborn), right now we are unsure what insurance will cover, and other expenses are piling up as Brittanie is still on maternity leave after having Lyric, and now travel expenses from Muscatine to Iowa City, as well as meals, parking and other misc expenses.

With the holidays coming up, I know everyone will be even more tight with money - however as long as I've known Brittanie there isn't a good cause she has passed up helping, any little bit will help get them through this time until we can get Izaiah fixed up and home again.
