Help Rosie Recover

Rosie recently moved to New Orleans from Santa Cruz, California in August of 2014. She very rapidly found a job she loved, gained a promotion and was thrilled and excited by her new city and rapid success.
However, in the past several months Rosie has been suffering from severe back pain, limited mobility, and worst of all an unclear diagnosis and treatment plan. This has prevented her from working, socializing and even moving about and preparing food without severe and debilitating pain. She had seen a neurologist and neurosurgeon, both of whom originally thought she had a sacral hemangioma (a growth on her spine) which was causing her pain but who also wanted to rule out anything worse (malignancies, tumors, bone destruction, etc.) and ordered many additional tests before coming up with a firm diagnosis and treatment plan. The doctors are starting to look at an open biopsy as a necessary next step.
More recently, additional tests revealed a herniated disk injury and a possible bone cyst (tumor, growth?) in addition to the hemangioma. Her neurosurgeon has referred her to the Department of Neurology at Tulane for a second opinion.
We are hopeful that the diagnoses will be treatable and the prospects for a full recovery will be good.. She has recently started physical therapy and the results are looking good, pain-wise.
Needless to say the length of time it has taken to diagnose what is going on and the prospects for a lengthy rehabilitation with no income in sight for a while, requires Rosie to reach out and ask for assistance.
She has exhausted her savings and though recently covered by the Affordable Care Act insurance there are still copays, deductibles and uncovered services for which she is responsible including orthotics and homeopathic and alternative treatments.
In addition she continues to have living expenses and transportation expenses. All of this is incredibly expensive and she is asking all of you who can help to please do so.
For those who have already donated she wants to thank you from the bottom of her heart and will thank each of you personally when she is more able to. She is grateful to all of you in advance for all your prayers, good wishes and generous support.
