How do we learn that something is different? And, when are we taught to identify something as "different" is it then considered "right" or "wrong"?
It's A Girl! is a show that asks: how do we perceive differences? and how do these perceptions relate to personal identity, gender, and stereotypes?
Having been awarded Best NewComer to the Fringe during the Halifax Fringe Festival 2017 It's A Girl! Is now heading to the Prague International Fringe Festival in May 2018, and we are looking forward to having these conversations on an international stage.

In this show performer Michelle Raine, a celebrated emerging Artist from Halifax, Nova Scotia, shares personal stories about her experiences growing up as a trans woman and creates a safe environment where people can ask questions, have conversations, discuss identity and what it means to be perceived as different.
The educational and philosophical components of the show allow audience members to self reflect while enjoying the atmosphere, and the marshmallows.
