Hi! My name is Isaiah Thacker. When I was only 2 years old, my daddy, Karl Thacker, died of colon cancer familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) at the young age of 34. I am now 9 years old, and I have been diagnosed with Stage 1 colon cancer FAP, the same disease that killed my daddy. The cancer has already spread to my small and large intestines.

I am receiving all my treatment, including having my colon removed this summer, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. This is a LOONNGGG way from my home….3 whole hours!!    The funds raised through this will assist my family of six (6) with medical, traveling and lodging expenses.

Speaking of my family, I have an older sister Ayana, an older brother Jalen (he has also tested positive for low grade cancer cells in his colon), a little brother Drakkar, Jr., my mommy She’rron, and my step dad Drakkar. I also have a great support system that includes my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and church family.
