Invest in Yourself Foundation Inc. is a Houston, TX based organization whose focus is to introduce the youth to the world of Finance, Science, Math, Technology, and Community Service. Our students at Lake Olympia Middle School learn about financial literacy, open bank accounts, purchase stocks, and even conduct financial workshops in the community to promote awareness.
Last year, thanks to State Farm Youth Advisory Board, we were able to take 2 of our students and their parents to NYC last year to visit Wall Street. It was an INCREDIBLE experience. They were able to visit Wall Street, The 9/11 Memorial, American Museum of Finance, The Financial Bull, as well as see SNOW for the first time! We would like to take more students this year and we need your help! What better way for them to learn about Wall Street than to actually VISIT it. Every bit helps. Thank you.
