DEAR EVERYONE! Dear friends, family, acquaintances and everyone reading this.
Help us help our beloved Inger Kristine Borghov battle for her life, to fight cancer. Help us, to give her a chance to spend more time with her two little sons, so she can watch them grow older, and to spend some more time with her family and friends.
As the fundraiser campaign is administered by friends of Inger Kristine in Norway, the currency is in Norwegian Kroner (NOK).

This is Inger Kristine's story:
Inger Kristine Borghov is a beautiful, bubbly 33 year old mother from Sandnes, Norway. She is newly married to her husband Eivind, and mother to her two little sons Eliaz (3) and Mio (5).
Recently, on the 16th of May 2017 her and her family's life was totally turned upside down. Inger Kristine was diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer and received the fatal message that she only had two months left to live, give or take. However, Inger Kristine defined the odds against her.

Previous to the diagnosis she had experienced no signs or symptoms. The cancer started in the stomach and had already spread to the liver when the diagnosis was made. Inger Kristine was given introductory chemotherapy to see how her body responded. Against the odds, the results came back very positive. This gave not only Inger Kristine and her family, but also the doctors hope. After three months of treatment with positive effects, her cancer was in remission.
Unfortunately, despite successful treatments consisting of chemotherapy in Norway during the past months, the effect of Inger Kristine's treatments has declined and the cancer in her liver has once again started growing.
Friday 08/09-2017 the health services in Norway announced that they can no longer offer any further treatment. The medical team who has followed Inger Kristine is now advising her to spend her remaining time with her kids and family. HOWEVER, Inger Kristine is not giving up yet, she finds herself at a crossroads. Luckily the medical world spans far beyond Norway’s borders.
Inger Kristine and her husband, Eivind, contacted the company Oncolomed, who conveys contact with clinics abroad. Oncolomed suggested a clinic in Germany, Medias Klinikum. Inger's medical record is sent to the clinic and they are ready to accept her this monday 18/09-2017.
Medias Klinikum is run by professor Aigner, he is a world leading oncologist. The treatment consist of regional chemotherapy , a treatment who is unfortunately not yet approved in Norway. The chemotherapy will be aimed directly to the affected areas, highly concentrated, instead of flowing through the body such as the treatment in Norway.
The first treatment will cost approximately around NOK 250 000 or USD 32 000.
Inger Kristine will be needing several treatments, time will show how many but typically the cost of treatments will get close to NOK 1million or USD 128 000.
Inger Kristine remains positive and is in good spirit. She has no doubt who will come out victorious on the other side. HER. However this will come at great cost. The treatment abroad is very costly. Large resources will be needed quickly as Inger's time is about to run out and she needs to start treatment as soon as possible. At the moment the resources will be needed on a continous bases.
PLEASE HELP US TO GIVE INGER KRISTINE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET THE TREATMENT SHE NEEDS ABROAD, THE OPPORTUNITY AND HOPE TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH HER DEAR FAMILY.

Inger Kristine er en sprudlende og vakker tobarnsmor på 33 år fra Sandnes, Norge. Hun ble nylig gift med hennes mann, Eivind, og mor til deres to små gutter Eliaz (3) og Mio (5). Livet til vår kjære Inger Kristine og hennes familie ble nylig snudd opp ned. Den 16. mai 2017 fikk de den utenkelige beskjeden om at hun har kreft. Hun ble gitt to måneder igjen å leve av legene. Inger Kristine har gått mot alle odds.

På forhånd hadde Inger Kristine ingen symptomer eller tegn som skulle tilsi at hun var alvorlig syk.
Kreften har sitt utspring fra magesekken og hadde allerede ved diagnostisering spredt seg til lever. Det viser seg å være en aggresiv celletype. Inger fikk en cellegiftkur for å se hvordan kroppen responderte. I mot alle odds var effekten av denne stor, og dette ga henne, familien, venner og legene et håp. Etter 3 måneder med kurer med enorm positiv effekt, viste CT gledelig stor tilbakegang av kreftsvulstene.
Desverre etter en lang og tøff sommer med cellegiftbehandling har effekten avtatt og kreften i leveren har startet å vokse igjen. Cellegiften har mistet sin virkning.
Fredag 08/09-17 konstanterte Helsevesenet i Norge at de ikke lenger har mer å tilby Inger Kristine, de kan ikke lenger hjelpe henne.
Sykehuset oppfordrer nå Inger Kristine til å tilbringe den siste tiden med familien sin, MEN Inger Kristine er tøff, hun står nå ved et veiskille. Den medisinske verden er større enn hva Norge kan tilby.
Gjennom firmaet Oncolomed har Inger Kristine og familien fått vite at det finnes en behandling i Tyskland som kan prøves. Journalen hennes er på vei til klinikken der, Medias Klinikum. Planen er at Inger Kristine og familien kan reise dit allerede mandag 18/09-17.
Medias klinikum er drevet av professor Aigner, som skal være verdensledende innen onkologi. Behandlingen regional kjemoterapi, som han utfører er desverre ikke godkjent i Norge. Dette er en cellegiftbehandling som utføres lokalt i det rammede organet. I Inger sitt tilfelle vil cellegiften settes direkte i magesekken og leveren i høyt konsentrat, istedet for å gå systemisk gjennom hele i kroppen slik det utføres i Norge.
Første behandling koster rundt 250.000 norske kroner. Dersom Inger responderer bra på første behandling vil hun få flere behandlinger, kostnaden kan fort komme opp mot 1 million norske kroner.
Inger Kristine er fortsatt ved godt mot og er ikke i tvil om hvem som kommer seirende ut til slutt. Nemlig henne.
Behandlingen i utlandet krever dessverre store ressurser, og det er behov for ressurser fortløpende da Inger Kristine trenger behandlingene så snart som mulig.
