Schule neu gedacht: Zehn Jahre Infinita - Das Buch

Hallo,

mein Name ist Sebastian Deichmann und ich bin Mitbegründer der Demokratischen Schule Infinita. Eine Schule, die Bildung neu denkt, in der nunmehr zehn Jahre Kinder in Freiheit aufwachsen, nach eigenen Interessen und Leidenschaften lernen und Verantwortung für ihr eigenes Leben und Lernen übernehmen. 

Eine Schule, deren Ziel letztlich die Fähigkeit der Schüler*innen ist, ein glückliches Leben zu leben.

Es besteht allgemein Einigkeit, dass eine Veränderung des Schulsystems notwendig ist. Gleichzeitig fällt es schwer, über alte Strukturen hinaus zu denken.

Demokratische Schulen zeigen grundsätzlich neue Wege auf. Die Erfahrungen von Schüler*innen und Lernbegleiter*innen sind faszinierend und stellen viel in Frage, was heute als normal hingenommen wird. 

Bisher gibt es aber kein Buch, in dem interessierte Menschen über Erfahrungen von demokratischen Schulen in Deutschland lesen könnten. Die Erfahrungen bleiben der Allgemeinheit unzugänglich.

Es ist darum Zeit, die Geschichte der Infinita zu erzählen.

Ich habe ein Buch geschrieben, das die Schule vor den Augen der Leser*innen lebendig macht. Es soll inspirieren und alte pädagogische Paradigmen in Frage stellen. Es soll Menschen erlauben, Bildung aus einer radikal anderen Perspektive zu erleben. 

Es erklärt dem Verstand, warum ein Schulsystem auch mit dem Herzen entwickelt werden muss. Es spricht von unseren Ideen, unseren Überzeugungen und unseren Erfahrungen. 

Das Buch soll helfen, die Ideen Demokratischer Bildung zu verbreiten. 

Es erlaubt Eltern von Kindern an Demokratischen Schulen, ein tieferes Verständnis für das Erleben ihrer Kinder zu bekommen.

Es eröffnet Lehrer*innen und Pädagog*innen neue Ideen und Perspektiven und hilft 

neuen Lernbegleiter*innen an freien Schulen, ihre Rolle auszufüllen.

Das Buch ist geschrieben, aber wir brauchen Hilfe, es zu veröffentlichen.

Lektorat, Korrektorat, Coverdesign und Buchsetzung kosten insgesamt ~4400€. 

Hinzu kommen noch Kosten für Werbung, um das Buch bekannt zu machen. (1500,- sind ein guter Start dafür - alles darüber hinaus bedeutet mehr Werbung und mehr Verbreitung)

Jede Spende hilft, neue Ideen in der Bildung zu verbreiten.

Hello,

my name is Sebastian Deichmann and I am a co-founder of the Democratic School Infinita. A school that thinks about education differently, where for the past ten years, children have grown up in freedom, learning based on their own interests and passions and taking responsibility for their own lives and learning. A school whose ultimate goal is the ability of students to live a happy life.

There is general agreement that a change in the school system is necessary. At the same time, it is difficult to think beyond old structures. Democratic schools show fundamentally new ways. The experiences of students and learning companions are fascinating and question much of what is currently accepted as normal.

However, there is currently no book in which interested people can read about experiences of democratic schools in Germany. These experiences remain inaccessible to the general public.

It is therefore time to tell the story of Infinita. I have written a book that brings the school to life in the readers minds. It can inspire and question old pedagogical paradigms. It can allow people to experience education from a radically different perspective. It explains to the mind why a school system must also be developed with the heart. It speaks of our ideas, our convictions and our experiences. The book should help to spread the ideas of Democratic Education. It allows parents of children at democratic schools to gain a deeper understanding of their children's experiences. It opens new ideas and perspectives for teachers and educators and helps new teachers at free schools to fill their role.

The book is written, but we need help to publish it. Proofreading, editing, cover design and typesetting cost a total of ~4400€. In addition, there are costs for advertising to make the book known. 1500,- is a good start for that and everything beyond will help to spread the ideas wider.
