Lisa Marie Dorneker Moffatt

Marine, scholar, academic, lawyer, prosecutor, adventurer, fighter, survivor, daughter, sister, mother, and a true life warrior; passed away on May26th, at the age of 38. She left this world in her sleep and at peace, without pain and without fear.
For 3 years, Lisa fought a ferocious battle against Stage IV Adrenal Cancer. No one fought harder or for a better cause. Lisa is survived by her father Michael, her brother Michael Jr., and her two young boys Kyle Alexander (age 10) and Jacob Alan (age 8). Every surgery, every treatment, every therapy, every second of fierce self-advocacy was solely for the purpose of having one more minute with her children.
Lisa leaves behind a legacy of friendships forged and lives changed.
It was Lisa's wish that any monetary donations made in her honor be placed into an educational trust for her two children. Any donations made to this page will go solely to the educational funds of Kyle and Jacob.
