Help Cure Multiple Myeloma

Tax deductible

Scott E. Wilson died on January 26, 2018 at the age of 38  from Multiple Myeloma, a rare form of blood cancer that attacks white blood cells and for which there are few treatment options and no cure. Scott fought this disease  courageously for almost five years and his family fought it with him.  Scott's son Bryce, his parents Bob and Pat and his older brother Chris all spent countless hours at Scott's side battling his disease in any way they could.

On Scott's last day with us he expressed his regret, regret that he could not keep fighting  the disease that was taking him from us and he regretted that he had not been able to give something back to the people and organizations that helped extend his life and give him hope for a cancer free future, real hope that he would  to see his son grow up.  Before he passed, Scott asked us to use the video he recorded of himself after chemotherapy to raise awareness and if possible, to raise money for cancer research and organizations that provide financial and emotional support to cancer patients.

Scott's family and friends want to honor Scott and pick up the fight against Cancer and Multiple Myeloma where he left off and we can use all the help we can get!  If you don't know Scott, take a moment and watch the video of him with his son, and you will see how genuine and loving our friend was, even facing the greatest of adversity.

Scott could not have survived for as long as he did without the help of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (the "LLS").  The LLS paid for his medical insurance premiums, which added up to thousands of dollars each year.  In addition to patient support, the LLS is at the forefront of blood cancer research and spent millions of dollars to help bring Scott’s clinical trial to become a reality and resulted in a cancer free Scott for a period of months.

Since 2015, the LLS has been raising money and has invested its funds into  research and establishing clinical trials for CAR-T Cell Therapy, which gave Scott the only remission he ever achieved in nearly 5 years of treatment.

We started with a goal of $10,000,  all of which will be donated DIRECTLY to the LLS for use towards improving treatment and finding a cure for Multiple Myeloma and other forms of blood cancer.

With your help, we can raise more than our goal and help the LLS fight for the Scott Wilson in your life. PLEASE donate any amount you can to help those in need!
