ALADS CARES is chartered to assist law enforcement personnel, their relatives, and related parties who need immediate financial support in the greater Los Angeles, California area. The ALADS acronym stands for the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs. The CARES abbreviation that appears in the name stands for Cops and Relatives Emergency Support. The emergency may be attributable to a fatality, near-fatal incident, physical incapacitation, and any other incident that would demonstrate that assistance would be prudent.
