Nanette was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. A bowl resection was done and the tumor along with about 18 inchs of bowl were removed. True to her nature she went back to work the following week, part time.
After the first dose of Chemo, she had a violent reaction putting her back in the hospital for a number of days. Obviously we can't stop the Chemo, but the doctors are making adjustments. She has such great internal strength that we know we will make it. We have a great team of Doctors taking care of her Thank G_D!
Of course the hard part is paying for all of this. In just three months we have incurred over $10,000 in bills and more coming in. Needless to say our savings have been drained and the financial stress is taking its toll on Nanette and Myself as well.
