Help Save a Life

Ilana Attias made her way all the way from Israel to Sand Diego California to have a life saving lung transplant. 3 weeks ago Ilana was matched with a donor and successful went through the transplant. Ilana is currently still hospitalized and under doctor supervision. When released, she will have to have check ups and tests 4 times a week at the hospital. Ilana’s husband Haim left his job so he can fly with Ilana and support her through this process. This is where you come in, the couple isn’t working and they have to provide for themselves here in the US for the next 12 months . Expenses include basic living expense plus special medication that costs thousands of dollars. בשבח והודיה לבורא עולם, אילנה אטיאס עשתה דרכה מישראל לסן דיגו כדי להילחם על חייה.
לאחר 3 שבועות אינטנסיביים מאוד של אשפוז, בדיקות וטיפולים בבית החולים UCSD , נמצא תורם מתאים ואילנה עברה בהצלחה השתלת ריאות.
אילנה עדין מאושפזת בבית החולים. ותחת מעקב מתמיד.
הרופאים אומרים שזמן ההחלמה הוא כ12 חודשים , אילנה תצטרך להגיע לטיפולים לאחר שתשתחרר מאישפוז במשך 4 פעמים כל שבוע.
חיים , בעלה של אילנה עזב את העבודה בישראל בכדי להיות לצד אשתו אילנה ולתמוך בה בכל התהליך.
