<div>I'm Jordie Laidlaw, the mind behind Ignus, a flaming sunflower we're bringing from Terrace, BC to Burning Man, Nevada.

<div>Made by a passionate team, including Indigenous Nisga'a artist Zachary Canuel, Ignus tells the sunflower's life story through fire and steel. The project was inspired by my experiences working in the ICU throughout the pandemic.
