International Whitewater Hall of Fame Induction

Tax deductible
Want to join us in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit the International Whitewater Hall of Fame  (IWHoF).  Any level of donation will help honor individuals who have opened access, advanced safety and technology, and educated/advocated for safe, yet adventurous, paddlesports which benefits ALL! Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us!

But wait there's more! Check out these wonderful incentive items for several happy IWHoF donors!

Is adventuring in Costa Rica on your bucket list! Rios Tropicales  has donated a 3-day/2-night Pacuare White Water Rafting tour for two people!  Previously named by National Geographic as "One of the Best Adventure Outfitters on Earth ," the certificate was donated by Rios Tropicales owner and 2009 IWHoF Honoree Rafa Gallo. (Thanks Rafa!) A donation of $798 claims it!  (Certificate valid Oct 10, 2019 to Oct. 31, 2020. Air travel not included.  Double occupancy. Minimum age to participate: 14 years old). Claim it now! Only one certificate available.

Thanks to five donors - Ron Sarver, Steve Kaplan, John Callender, Helen Chase, and an anonymous donor  - who claimed 5 MTI Life Jackets  provided by MTI (Model: Vibe - choice of color and size).   These USCG-approved jackets were the choice of the 2019 US Women's Rafting Team pictured here!  Thanks MTI!

Thanks to donor Sam Drevo who claimed the BIC original fiberglass SUP paddle, adjustable.  It's a sweet paddle for a $100 donation to IWHoF! Thank you to our friends at BIC!

Of course, any level of support is greatly appreciated as we prepare to honor whitewater pioneers and advocates at the 2019 IWHoF Induction ceremony  in Nuremberg, Germany, October 5, 2019:

Pioneers:  Hermann & Christa Kerckhoff (Canada): Founders of the  Madawaska Kanu Centre whitewater instruction school.   Their visionary leadership led to the creation of Canada’s first whitewater management plan and will ensure public access to the Ottawa River for future generations.

Advocate: Joe Pulliam (USA): An outstanding contributor to whitewater as a manufacturer (Perception, Dagger, Jackson Kayak) and supporter of whitewater river stewardship for four decades.

Advocate:  Chris Hawkesworth (UK): Early adventurer, early filmmaker, contributor to the development of standards for helmets and other safety equipment, and advocate for whitewater course development through a fifty-plus year period.

Congratulations to the 2019 Honorees.  Thanks to each of you for your donation of support!!

The International Whitewater Hall of Fame is proud to partner with the ACA.  The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a member based, national nonprofit organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling; stewardship support to help protect paddling environments; and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition and recreation. Proceeds from this Go Fund Me campaign will be distributed 85% IWHoF and 15% ACA.
