A poem from our heart to highlight our journey to fertility......
What a blessing it is to have a baby, a miracle from above.
A little angel to kiss, cuddle and embrace with lots of love.
Who knew that trying to conceive would come along with such heartache, tears and pain?
Something that usually brings others joy and sunshine in doing so, would plague us with storms and rain.
The closer we thought we were to conception, after patiently waiting and wanting it so desperately.
Was devastating to find out things were going in the wrong direction, and my unborn baby was now further away from me.
After a plethora of testing, numerous treatments, hormones, surgeries and more.
Little did we know that Stage III endometriosis was the diagnosis we have to endure.
It's been a long road on the journey to fertility, filled with emotional rollercoasters that have yet come to an end.
We will never forget that day, when the doctor said "I'm sorry, IVF is now the ONLY way my friend".
Some people dream of wealth, having power or living in mansions that stand tall.
But Brian's dream is to someday teach his child how to throw and catch a football.
Some only want the finer things in life like diamonds, platinum and gold.
Ours is of the day we will have our little Lovebug in our arms to snuggle and hold.
Nonetheless of the obstacles presented to us, we are still optimistic and know,
With Faith all things are possible and from God, BLESSINGS flow.
It's not just a saying.....we believe that MIRACLES do come true.
And with your help, we will be able to have IVF, then a little one in pink or blue.
Our enduring journey for having a baby has hit obstacle after obstacle. Our latest bump in the road is being diagnosed with Stage 3 Endometriosis leaving us with IVF as our only option to conceive. According to the Specialist, time is not on our side. We are asking for your help as we cannot afford this ourselves. We have both undergone major surgeries, treatment, testing and more to get this far. Unfortunately, we have to pay all associated costs for IVF out of pocket and nothing is covered by our insurance, not even the anesthesia. We are asking for you to help us reach our goal to IVF. We have so much love to give and are looking forward to the day we hold our baby in our arms. Another addition to our family!!
