Help Ryan Maroney's recovery

On June 10th 2017 Ryan Maroney was in a Motorcycle accident that nearly took his life. While out with some friends, he lost control of the bike and slammed into two snow plows that were being stored for the winter where they were riding. The helmet he was wearing was shattered.
Ryan was rushed to Nyack Hospital then transported to Westchester Medical Centers Trauma unit. It was there that we started to learn the severity of Ryan's condition. He had sustained a life threatening head injury that had shattered many bones in his face and skull. The pressure in his brain was building. His spine and neck were fractured in twelve places. He was bleeding internally. All of his ribs were broken. His lung was punctured. His spleen was lacerated. His shoulder was shattered. The list goes on and on. Somehow the incredible team at the Westchester TICU managed to save his life, but it would be three more weeks before Ryan woke up.
Call it luck, call it a miracle, or if you ask Ryan or his friends they might tell you that he is a superhero, either way, Ryan is with us! He remembers everything from before the accident! He is healing wonderfully and with the support of his friends and family, working hard to get back to life.
Ryan has a very very long road ahead of him and is going to need support to make it through. It will be many months of daily rehabilitation to get his countless broken bones healed and to fully recover from the TBI. Ryan loves his job and wants to work, but we don't know when he will be able to return to his position. Unable to work, his bills would be pilling up without support.
Our goal is to raise enough money so Ryan can get back and fourth to rehab and have his basic bills paid until he has recovered enough to go back to his job. Ryan is our Ironman! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any contributions.
