IDEA Monterrey Park CHEER!

My name is Jessica Pacheco and I am the cheer coach for IDEA Monterrey Park Public Charter Schools. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is 100% College for ALL! We are originally from the Rio Grande Valley and have been making our way up and through Texas, our specific campus is located here in San Antonio just off Commerce and 39th St.

 

The team I serve has students ranging from 6th-9th grade and are preparing for their first major cheer competition in January. We are reaching out to our community for help. Given that 95% of our students live below the poverty level, finances tend to be a challenge. With their hard work this past year, training and developing new skill’s they have been invited to compete against teams from all over the nation and the world at the National Cheer Association Championship in Dallas, TX. This is a great honor; given that this is the first year majority of the team has ever cheered or competed at this level.

 

We are looking for any donations possible to help ease our fundraising goal of $5,000. Whether it is $10.00 to $1,000.00 any donation is greatly appreciated.
