I Am The 139 -I Am Sankofa project

I Am The 139 is a not-for-profit organisation with the central theme of youth empowerment, which organises annual events for youths and their educational/ career development.

This year, we have gone a step further to start a new initiative, the #IAmSankofaProject. The I Am Sankofa project aims to repair and restore the Nifa Kindergarten and Primary School in Adukrom township, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Your donations will help us build a safe and welcoming environment for the children and provide learning materials which will help improve their academic performance.

A breakdown of the expenses are as follows;

- Replacement of damaged walls and windows= £3,000
- Painting and decorating= £1,500
- Grounds Levelling= £2,000
- Rain water harvesters and tracking system= £1,300
- Metal railings and fencing of verandah and school premises = £1,500
- Playground= £2,000
- Reconstruction of staircase and school grounds access= £2,000
- Books, Stationery and charges= £1,800

We aim to start this project in December 2017 so your action and generosity is needed urgently, in order to start the works as scheduled.
