When it is determined that you want to sit down and write the great American novel, you probably still haven't decided what you want to write about, at least I didn't.

Being a Baby-Boomer and part of one of the largest generations in America I was fortunate to be a part of one of the most prolific decades of my generation, the sixties.

So, much happened that shaped the fabric and the moral and ethical boundaries of our country. A revolution was brewing, a war was being fought in Vietnam for all the wrong reasons, and another war was being fought at home for all the right reasons. Music was evolving and fanning the flames of the revolution.

Every young person who was tossed into the sixties did not slide into the seventies without any bruises or scars.

I have written this memoir to shares my story of growing up in Norfolk, VA in that turbulent decade. I feel this story will reunite those who experienced the decade that brought us:

·      The birth of Rock and Roll

·      Brown vs. Brown and degradation in the school
        systems.
