MY FIRST SOLO ALBUM IS BEING PRODUCED BY GRAMMY AWARD WINNING CEDRIC & VICTOR CALDWELL (Whitney Houston,CeCe Winans) AND A FEW MORE DYNAMIC GUYS.
I have had the opportunity to participate on many of the most popular recordings of the past 2 decades in Christian Contemporary Music, Gospel Music and Jazz. Some of you may already know me from my past success as the singer from the song “There is None Like You” off of Praise in the House with Fred Hammond & Radical for Christ as well as sung back-up for artists such as CeCe Winans, Kirk Whalum, Marvin Sapp, Kirk Franklin, Steve Crawford, Natalie Grant, Nathaniel Bassey, Timi Dakolo, Olumide Iyun, Cobaums Asuquo, Maurette Brown Clark, TD Jakes, Martha Munizzi, Smokie Norful, Darwin Hobbs, Donna Summer, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Marvin Winans, Donnie McClurkin, JMoss, Angie Winans, Kelly Price, Kenny Loggins, Kathy Taylor, BeBe Winans, Sheila E, Helen Baylor, Yolanda Adams, Alvin Slaughter, Earl Klugh, Oleta Adams, RIZEN, Beverly Crawford, and on Television my vocals were featured on the TD Jakes Potter’s House Opening for many years. Currently, I am singing on the Worship team at Lakewood Church (4 years) & doing music sessions around town.
Just like the women on the Oscar & Academy Award winning “20 Feet from Stardom.” A fascinating documentary about the career of back-up singers. I have dreamed of recording and leading the masses into the presence of God.
A DREAM RECLAIMED...
I am very fortunate to have something like GoFundMe at my fingertips-- it gives the chance for YOU (my family, church family, friends, peers, community and fans), to lend a helping hand at the most crucial time, and help fund my new record! I can only accomplish this dream with your financial support.
The way this 1st phase works:
-we determined a cost of everything involved in making my album $25,000.00, and we take donations via this GoFundMe page for 30 days.
-you will be charged for the amount you donate, and you will receive a reward listed under the Reward Level chosen. If our goal is NOT reached, I do not get to record a full album *sad face*
As you may (or may not) know, recording an album in a professional studio, with sound engineers, producers, and even studio musicians, is an expensive endeavor. Add the cost of duplicating cd’s, album artwork, distribution, and promotional expenses, and the whole shebang is nearly twice as expensive!
All I want to do is make music, and this is your chance to help. Donate what you can; even a few bucks will go a long way.
