Hurricane Harvey Relief for my Mom

Hello, my name is Natalie Baez. My mother has endured Hurricane Harvey's wrath and I'm here to bring her back to peace as her only child.
As you may know, Hurricane Harvey has made its record breaking appearane in Houston, Texas as a category 4 hurricane -- the largest to hit in decades. It has left families, pets, and other animals in dire need. Of those families and pets is my mother and her 3 pets. The bayou right outside my mother's community rose quickly. The area that she lives in is incredibly flooded, leaving her '97 Honda Civic underwater and other valuables.
I live 1400+ miles away from my mother, in NJ, and can only help her so much from this far. I am currently working 2 jobs and attending school full-time in a week on the 5th, so I'm trying my best on my own to help her. I figured it would be a good time to let my guard down and ask for help from others.
Anyone that knows my mother and me knows that we really don't like asking for money/help, but during these terrible times, we ask you, your friends, and your families to please lend a helping hand in anyway you can. Every penny counts and will get my mom and her cats to a better state.
