Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief

Hurricane Harvey has severely damaged many portions of South Eastern Texas. The devastating rain has flooded many areas of Houston and residents are leaving their neighborhoods as water continues to rise. This particular storm is still creating havoc. My mission is to gather as much resources and deliver help with relief for all those directly affected by the storm.  

I personally have family affected by Hurricane Harvey. They and their surrounding neighbors have been severely affected by this storm. My two cousins and their two dogs that live in Missouri city, Texas evacuated to my Aunt and Uncle’s home two days ago to seek shelter in Sugarland, Texas. I received a text from my aunt saying that their Mayor in Sugarland, Texas had given the city a mandatory evacuation status. Once this alert came out 95% of the streets were already flooded and there was no way out.

My team of active duty military personnel from different branches will be traveling to the Houston area to assist with disaster relief support in any way possible. We will bring enough man power to clear roads, fill sand bags, bring shovels to pick up debris, and bring food rations, and water to effected families.  My team will link up with the National Guard and the Red Cross when we arrive.  We have gathered and pledged all donated funds to the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. 

Any donation will help this cause and will allow the families affected the fastest recovery possible.
