Rain is still falling and water levels are rising. The damage is so great that families will be dealing with it for a long time. The McCormicks are one of those families.
On Sunday morning they awoke to two feet of water in their home with carpeting and furniture soaked. They quickly realized they needed to evacuate. Fortunately their neighbors came to the rescue and provided temporary shelter for them.
On Monday the water receded enough for them to begin pulling up and removing carpet. But on Tuesday they again faced rain and with the possibility of rising water.
Currently they are looking for a place to stay. Two cars were flooded and it will be some time before they will have transportation. It could take weeks or months before they can safely move back into there home, but with your help we can make their life a little easier right now.
Charlene McCormick and her family are so very grateful for your support in helping them find a sense of relief from this disaster.
I, too, am grateful for all your love and generosity during this family's time of need. All funds go directly to Charlene McCormick.
With much appreciation for your help,
I am Charlene's sister inlaw, I live in California. The funds from this campaign go directly to Charlene to help her replace some of the items she lost during this disasterous floodiing.
