Norma Herzog retired with her late husband Bill to the small community of Rockport, TX. She’s lived there for many years and has been devastated by the damage Hurricane Harvey’s 130 mph winds and torrential rain have caused.
Norma is in her late 70’s, on a fixed income and was unable to afford insurance on her property. She had about 20 trees next to her home and a few of those decided to take shelter inside her house from the Evil Eye of Harvey. They crashed through the roof and landed in two separate bedrooms wreaking havoc and flooding the home with rain. The back porch where she spent time with family and friends was ripped from the structure. Ceilings collapsed and personal belongings were damaged and lost. The home is currently uninhabitable.
My name is Debra Knowlton and Norma is my Mom. All funds will go directly to her for repairs and cleanup after this disaster.
Please help Norma put her life back together. I ask that if you can't donate, please share her story. Thank you so much for your caring and generosity!
