My name is Aliyah Rolack and I am a Sophomore International Business major with a concentration in Management attending Howard University (originally from Long Island, New York). During my time at Howard, I have been a Team Leader in the 21st Century Advantage Program, a member of the School of Business Executive Leadership Honors Program, a Capstone Scholar, a national case study competition winner, Miss Bethune Annex 2[phone redacted], and Miss Residence Life 2[phone redacted]. I also successfully completed my first collegiate internship with the National Urban League in Manhattan, New York in their Human Resources Department and was voted Most Outstanding Freshman in the SBEL Honors Program.
I am very excited because I was given the opportunity to expand my horizons and further my language and cultural studies through a study abroad trip to Oaxaca, Mexico this summer! This trip will give me the opportunity to earn Spanish credits, meet new people, participate in intensive language study, and be immersed in the beautiful culture of Oaxaca. The benefits of the program are numerous and the experience of studying abroad is priceless! Thank you so much for supporting my new adventure and I look forward to sharing my experiences!
