Hey everyone! We are Houston residents from the University of Miami School of Law. We have decided to spearhead a Hurricane Harvey relief donation drive here at the U attempting to help Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. There are millions of Houstonians, including our own friends and family, that are devastated by this storm and the floods. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated! We will be making monetary donations to All Hands Volunteers & the Houston Humane Society . If you would like your donation to go to a specific charity instead of beng evenly split between both, then please be sure to post which organization in the comments when you make the donation. · All Hands: Donations will be given directly to the non-profit with staff on the ground in Texas and are in contact with emergency officials about assisting in the response and recovery from Hurricane Harvey. https://www.hands.org/texas-hurricane-response/ · Houston Humane Society: Donations will be used to provide temporary shelter and food for stray animals affected by the storm. http://www.houstonhumane.org/giving Deadline to make a donation: September 21st, 2017 Please check out our Facebook page for more updates! https://www.facebook.com/HoustonwegotU/ Thank you so much for all your support for the great people of Houston!
