Family of 7 House Fire Needs Help!!

Donation protected
This morning my sister and her family thought it would be a normal day. Dad goes off to work, mom gets kids off to school and then spends time with little Adrian and their pets. Sadly my sister looked out the window and saw smoke coming from the garage. Her worst nightmare came true as she opened the breezeway door to the garage there it was flames and smoke. The breezeway door that connected to the garage was Gone! By the time she could get to the front of the house the fire had followed her out. She broke the slider door and tried to get her puppies and pets but sadly it was too late. The firemen arrived and used 83,000 gallons of water to put out the fire. Sadly they are devastated by the complete loss of their home and full of memories and treasured items.

Joanie and Houston are two of the most generous people I know. No matter the situation they are willing to give up what they have for others. Sadly they have lost everything. My nephews blankies are gone, nieces special animals, their pets, crafts that they made for their parents. Their kids feel like they are living a real life nightmare.

SO heartbreaking as she watched their house burn down and realize they do not have renters insurance. Because well everyone things something like this will NEVER happen to me. Watching your family's every possession go up in smoke and not knowing how you will ever replace it. My heart breaks for Joanie and Houston as a parent having to break that news to their children and not have any answers. Houston is a great man and works overtime every week so Joanie can be home with their kids. Being a single income family is very difficult these days.

They will need to replace everything out of pocket which will not be easy in addition find another place to live. They need all the help anyone is able to give right now. We are in contact with Red Cross and Salvation Army but I know they will need help.

I cannot even imagine how much cost of replacing everything.  They needs clothing,  shoes, underclothes, dishes, beds, bedding, toiletries, towels, couches, dressers, table, shoes, dishes, linens, etc. This is only what I can think of at the moment but they have only the clothes on their back and backpacks since they were at school.

They have gotten a lot of bags of clothing and shoes. We need to sort through everything they’ve gotten so far. Right now the most help would be gas cards, gift cards to Meijers, Walmart etc. They will definitely need to replace everything but if you plan on donating furniture or any large items it would be wonderful if you could hold onto them for now. The Red Cross temporary housing they only have room to bring their clothing.

You can drop off donations  just send me an email and I can give you the address. Thank you and God Bless!

Please know that there is not donation too small. Please share so they can get as much support as possible. If you are not able to donate or even if you can PLEASE say a prayer  for them or if prayer is not your thing just good thoughts their way. They had to break the news to their kids that every thing they treasure is gone and then that the puppies, kitty and guinea pigs were lost in the fire as well.
