Help Sharith beat Brain Cancer
The girl you see in the picture is my cousin Sharith Sofia Ramirez Gonzalez who is just 9 years old.
Sharith was diagnosed two months ago with brain cancer, specifically GLIOBLASTOMA tumors. Recently, Sofia had emergency surgery to remove the tumor but due to the delicate position of the tumor on her brain stem, not all of it was removed.
Doctors at the clinica San Marcel in Manizales, Colombia stated that they have done all they can for her.
Despite this conclusion, we will continue to fight for Sharith. Sharith desperately requires a second opinion. Through Grand Rounds, doctors at Dana Farber/Bostons Childrens Hospital and Mass General Hospital can access her medical records and provide recommendations for alternative therapies.
Shariths family is unable to afford the cost of this resource. We need your help.
