Wheelchair accessible van for Hope!

Donation protected

This is Hope Lee, she is 9 years old and she was born with Rett Syndrome. Hope is being raised by her great grandmother and great aunt who have full custody of Hope. They're both in their 80's! With Hope having Rett Syndrome she will need full care for the rest of her life. Granny Jettie and Aunt Carolyn just adore her and they take awesome care of her.  Hope is just spoiled rotten with attention.

Hope came into my life at a time when I was grieving the loss of my own daughter, Amber, who also had Rett Syndrome and passed away in her sleep at the age of 19. Hope and her family have been such a blessing to me and having them in my life has brought me so much joy. They are such an inspiration and a testimony of true love.

Here's where I need your help.....

Granny Jettie and Aunt Carolyn are on a fixed income so they sell produce to supplement their income.  On March 26th they drove to Atlanta to pick up produce to bring back to Montgomery to sell and before they were able to pick it up their van caught fire in Atlanta. Fortunately no one was hurt, unfortunately it is a total loss and no insurance to cover it. They owned 2 older vans, one for the produce stand and one for Hope. The van for Hope is still running but is not wheelchair accessible and it is an older model as well. The sisters are in their 80's and it would be such a blessing to them to have a wheelchair van for Hope and use the other van they had for their produce.  I had intended on raising money for their home, as they live in a late 1970's 2 bedroom trailer that desperately needs a bathroom remodel for Hope, but I feel that a van is now a priority for them because it's their livelihood.

Granny and Aunt Carolyn are very humble, loving, giving people that have sacrificed so much to take such awesome care of this precious little girl. I know God can bless them in ways I cannot even imagine but I'm going to do my part to try to raise money to help them.

Please know that no amount is too small!! I know Go Fund Me has many people trying to scam so I want to be as transparent as possible for that reason. I have several references within the Rett Syndrome community and many references within my church, family and friends. Every dime raised will go 100% to Hope and her needs. If you'd like more information or would like to send money through a different method please contact me.

I put a dollar amount on this fund raising campaign only because that is a ballpark figure of what we can get a used wheelchair van for,  but I'm not going to be putting an end date to this fundraiser because God provides in His time, not ours.

Please help me help this family, whether it be with money or prayers everything is welcomed!

Thank you!!

Jackie
