Chetram’s School Fund

Donation protected
As heartbreaking as this story is for all the families involved, Chetram’s has brought me to tears. Chetram Ramphal (sr) was on his way to visit his sick son at the New Amsterdam hospital where he was a patient when he met his demise on the No. 19 Public Road in Berbice. His son who is now 13, recalled the incident which is still fresh in his mind.

This young teen was forced to drop out of school following the tragic death of his father on the Corentyne highway; his only wish now is to be able to get an education and take his family out of poverty.  This story can bring anyone to tears, but this is a child with hope and potential; let’s give him wings. Donate today.

Funds collected will be used for school supplies, a bike to ride to school, uniforms and other necessities.
