Hope 4 Luz
Luz (means "Light" in Spanish) is Shirley & Sam Balmelli's mom. She is a young grandma to 2 grand kids, Jake & Samantha.
Luz's story is similar to many others who have put their faith and trust in conventional medical treatments for cancer. She has fallen victim to damaging treatments that focus on treating symptoms and the lack of anyone trying to heal her! Charlotte Gerson states "You cannot heal with poison."

Luz has been "sent home to die," dismissed by several doctors (since this past summer.) It has been 3 1/2 years from diagnosis to death sentence. This would place Luz in the 97.9% that don't survive past 5 years after traditional cancer treatments (cancertutor.com) The treatments Luz received never treated her conditions of why she has cancer (the causes) and they have caused extreme further damage, massive cancer, & painful sickness. The doctors give up because their treatments cause sickness & don't work. Most doctors wouldn't even accept those same treatments for themselves. Luz is not giving up! It is a miracle that Luz is still here!

The hope for Luz is an alternative cancer clinic that provides therapies that focus on healing and building health. The chosen clinic is one of the top clinics with one of the best well known doctors.
First, we are asking all (as many have been already doing) to pray for Luz's healing & health. Many people with similar cancers and treatments as Luz (anal, rectal, vaginal) have permanent damage from treatments. Let us pray that Luz doesn't have any irreversible damage.
Looking forward, Luz needs to get to a clinic where there is faith & hope for healing. We are fundraising to get Luz to the clinic http://www.hope4cancer.com/ Payment is due upon arrival for treatment for a year that costs $29,500. This includes initial treatment & going back every 3 months for testing, plus some take home therapies. In addition, Rigvor costs $12,900. The treatments Luz will receive are described on the website link above at the Hope 4 Cancer Institution. The $48,000 goal includes these clinic payments, travel for one time, and the charges from gofundme.
Past all statistics and chances of survival at this point, we believe that God will decide when it is Luz's time. Luz is still alive & her will to live is strong. She is staying at our home & we are starting from where we are using what we know to treat Luz until she gets to the clinic. Luz is in need of professional detoxification, tests, & faster/stronger cancer treatments/therapies.
