5 Months Pregnant & Our House Burned Down

Donation protected
Last night on December 16th 2019, I pulled up to my house and the worst of the worst could have been happening. After a early dinner in Rodeo, I pulled up at home to have a scared neighbor tell me my house was on fire. And when I looked up at my noble tired giant of a home the porch was billowing smoke. And panic grew finding out my elderly and sick roommate was still inside with her animals and my cats were no where to be found. I called 911 and immediately scrambled and around the street to find some kind of vantage point that was safe. About 10 minutes later responders came followed by my worried friends and neighbors. We watched and waited as the owners of the house and more of a bystander spectacle came to rise. My home with everything I've ever owned was burning, the entire front porch caved in from the blaze and fire fighters had to cut their way through the bramble and chaos to get to my roommate. Time goes by and its been around an hour but responders manage to pull out the elderly roommate and her dog. A little over 4 hours goes by, responders are exhausted, the responders on the fire contained and those on the force who knew me well enough from school did their best to grab everything that I said was important and then some. The multiple counties of fire force responders saved the majority of the house. The only casualty was the loss of one of our animals did not make it but all other life made it out of the house. Five months pregnant and now homeless and worried about my two cats. For me I lost my home, which I will admit at the moment is monetary. But for the property owners, they watched their family home and their family's most prized possession burn not knowing the extent of the damage or the cause. My heart despite my own suffering goes out to the Guglielmana family. And I hope that we all can figure out what exactly happened and how we can go about from here. I'm happy we are all safe but my heart breaks at the new pain that they might have. Now 5 months pregnant with no home, no clothes, and still trying to stay positive. We salvaged what we could which was barely a thing and have managed to secure the cats. Now while juggling work and distress I try and find a new home. On any regular given day I work at UPS as a package handler, I have a job and can pay rent but my family needs a home. My baby, my two cats, the love of my life, and my mother lost everything. We just need some kindness and help to get us back on our feet, right now were trying to scrape together a deposit on a new apartment or house to move into. We're couch surfing and struggling to hold fast to hope. Please help us, if you cant donate money reach out. We need clothes and basic necessities. Anything is better than nothing and nothing is all we have. Find a little kindness the Holiday Season and help some down trotted strangers change their stars.
