TJHS Scholarship in Memory of Holz

Our friend Eric Holzworth passed away on October 14th, 2017. Tragically he drown in Florida while vacationing with his family.
Eric was by all accounts a truly amazing Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Friend. He was a 1987 graduate from Thomas Jefferson High School in Pittsburgh where he was a stellar student and athlete. Eric served as Captain of the football team at TJ.
He continued his journey at the University of Pittsburgh where he was a graduate of the class of 1991. At Pitt he served as co-captain of the special teams for the football team and continued to accelerate in academics.
Eric went on to be extremely successful professionally as well as personally. He leaves behind his wife Heather, 3 children, Ben, Juliette and Reis, sister Wendy Shepard and brother Dave Holzworth.
In memoriam to Eric we are building a scholarship for a 2018 graduate of TJHS who is a stand out Student/Athlete. Eric was a recipient of a similar scholarship. Please donate whatever possible to honor this wonderful man who was taken from us too soon.
