On September 15, 2013 the Angel City charter team, the Hollywood Scarlets, placed 3rd in the WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs in Richmond, VA.
For the first time ever, Southern California will be represented at the WFTDA Championship Tournament where the 12 best teams in the world will compete for the glory of winning roller derby's highest honor: THE HYDRA TROPHY.
We feel incredibly lucky to play in this tournament and have worked incredibly hard to achieve this accomplishment. We absolutely love the entire roller derby community and we are so excited to represent for Los Angeles and Southern CA roller derby.
We need your help getting there! Any amount that you can spare will go to supplement travel and lodging costs for our team this November. We truly appreciate any support you can offer.
November 8, the Power of the Pegasus will invade Milwaukee! Get ready for it! POP POP!!!
