Holly Lawhorn's Recovery Fund

On Saturday June 8th, my dear friend Holly had a heart attack. It was so unbelievable that this vibrant full of energy only 29 years old could all of a sudden have this happen. I thank God Joe, her sons father was there when it happened. Holly was rushed to the hospital where the Dr 's found a blood clot in the main artery to her heart. The Dr 's were able to remove the clot but Holly had to be heavily sedated to keep her body cold to prevent any swelling to her brain and keep oxygen also going to her brain. Holly has a beautiful 2 year old little boy that is her life. On Monday morning things turned for the worst when Holly had a cardiac episode. We rushed to the hospital. Surrounded by her family and friends, Holly miraculously Monday afternoon went from a 5% chance to 50%. There's no doubt that Holly is a fighter. The Dr 's said that she was trying very hard to fight to wake up. By Monday night Holly had opened her eyes and looked around. Holly still has along way to go and will still be in the hospital for a while.
We are establishing this fund to assist in some whopping medical bills and living costs while she is in recovery. She may not return to work for several months, as she will require rehabilitation and monitoring. She will need help with funds to help pay for rent, bills, childcare and her dog and of course any medication she will need amongst plenty more.
