Holistic Care post Hurricanes

Hurricanes Irma and Maria have had a far reaching impact. Acupuncture and holistic care is in high demand as more and more people are being exposed to Salud y Acupuntura Para el Pueblo mobile clinics in Puerto Rico and discovering the benefits both physically and emotionally as people gather in communal settings and receive treatments and learn self-help techniques. Friends and family members in NYC have been under stress as they have not known the situation of those close to them, living in Puerto Rico. As the organizer for the group CRREW in NYC, I have been organizing practitioners to offer pro bono services to organizations in NYC whose staff and community members have felt the indirect impact of these hurricanes. In December I will be part of a small group of acupuncturists  and Registered Trainers of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association traveling to Puerto Rico to support the work our colleagues there and work together. Now I am seeking support to cover my expenses for this work in NYC and two trips to Puerto Rico. Funds needed include costs for travel, supplies and administrative costs.
