HOLIDAY LIGHTS and WREATH PROJECT
"Light Up Your Life"
The Grass Valley Downtown Association endeavors to improve our downtown with beautiful new LED lights and wreaths in time for our 50th Anniversary Cornish Christmas celebrations. We want to upgrade the notaligia ambiance in downtown Grass Valley.
The current lights need maintenance. We would like to take this opportunity to upgrade our holiday lights to LED lights, making it a win for property owners, shoppers and the community. Using LED lighting is a long term investment: they use energy more efficiently in many applications and costs pennies to run per day. The lights are durable as well as energy efficient, and will take less time and money to maintain as the years go on.
Why new wreaths? Our current wreaths are 35 years old, and in need of repair. We want to make our streets gleam with holiday cheer.
This community project needs investors by November 15th. Our project will cost $25,000 at a minimum to upgrade all the lights and wreaths on Mill Street and Main Street.
We invite you to help us make downtown beautiful and make a heritage donation.
Benefits: Sponsors will be listed on our GVDA website and thanked during our Cornish Christmas events. Everyone reaps the benefits of the beautification of our town. The investment in the durable and energy efficient lights are a long term investment.
