To Togo for Hola

I have been encouraged and touched by so many friends that I've decided to take a leap of faith! I am raising funds to meet my sponsor child, Hola. I sponsor her through compassion.com.

She lives in Togo Africa and is 6 years old. Her mother passed away not very long ago and lives with her father, sister, and grandmother.

It has been on my heart to visit her for a long time. This opportunity by compassion.com doesn't happen often and may never come again for me. She has asked me several times when will I come see her. I never answer that question because I've never had an answer for her. I would like nothing more than to be able to tell her that I will be coming soon. To be honest with you, it scares me A LOT to travel so far away and alone but I know in my heart it is something I have to do.

The trip to Togo is in July 2014. I believe being a year away the funds can be raised with a lot of hard work on my part and giving hearts from everybody else.

I will need about $400 for the initial deposit, by October 2013. (The deposit is non-refundable)
Because its so early, Compassion doesnt have a lot of detail right now but as soon it is provided, I will post it here.

I know if me and Hola are to meet then by God's grace and love and your generosity it will happen.

P.S. If I don't raise enough money to go, the money that is donated will go back to you, donated to Hola and her family, compassion.com or whatever other charity you'd like. I will work with you to settle back the funds. But, lets think positive! We will raise the money and there will be no need to settle back! :-)
