Bob's Fight

If you have ever had to battle Cancer you know how expensive this can be! Add to this, the stress of raising a large family and the emotional loss from my brother's death. It is evident that my parents are very strong people. Together we can help take some of the financial burden off them as my Dad fights stage 4 Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. I have been a part of the Race for the Cure in Philadelphia for the past two years. I started when I heard my girlfriend's cousin died from this cancer in May 2011. She left behind two very small children. I even walked last year only 3 days after the sudden passing of my own big brother and less than 2 weeks before my father was diagnosed with the very same cancer. Although they are making great strides in Brain Cancer research, my parents need funds on a personal basis to continue with large copays, gas, parking, and time off to cover treatments. I am getting together a team to walk in my dad's honor this year. If you would like to be a part of "Bob's Rock-N-Runners" there is no fee to walk as a participant. Our family will make the minimum donation to start this team! We will be looking into team tee-shirts.
