Hallo wir sind Conny & Chris,
Wir sind weit gereist und haben viel Tierleid auf der Welt sehen müssen daher ist es uns ein grosses Anliegen zu Helfen wann immer wir können und das Leid zu lindern wenn wir irgendwie können.
Als Teilnehmer der Baltic Sea Circle Rally 2021 wollen wir nicht nur ein großartiges Abenteuer erleben, sondern auch ein tolles Projekt zur Unterstützung unterstützen.
Wer ist die Animal Aware Guatemala?
Auf einer unserer Reisen haben wir in Guatemala bei der Tierschutzorganisation Animal Aware geholfen. Die Gründer Xenii und Martin beherbergen ca. 300 Strassenhund und 80 Katzen sowie einige Pferde und Esel die von Ihren Besitzern vernachlässigt wurden und kurz vor dem Verhungern standen. Xenii und Martin haben die Animal Aware ende der 1970er Jahre gegründet und seither ihr ganzes Leben den Tieren gewidmet. Es ist eine unglaubliche Leistung über die vielen Jahre diese Durchhaltevermögen an den Tag zu legen und jeden Tag aufs neue für die gute Sache zu kämpfen.

Wer ist Happy Tails?
Auf unserer Rumänienreise 2020 haben wir viele Strassenhunde sehen müssen, unter anderem haben wir auf einem Rastplatz einen 6 Wochen alten Welpen gefunden der dort offenbar ausgesetzt wurde. Wir haben ihn an uns genommen und auf eigene Faust in Deutschland vermittelt. Später sind wir auf Andra Maria von Happy Tails in Brasov aufmerksam geworden. Sie kümmert sich um Strassenhunde in Rumänien und benötigt dringend Spendengelder um die Kosten für das nötigste tragen zu können.

Wofür ist das Geld?
Es fehlt an allen Ecken und Enden und man ist auf Spenden und oder Volunteers angewiesen um die Tiere zu ernähren und die dringen notwendige medizinische Versorgung sicherzustellen. Eure Spenden werden unter anderem für:

Medizin
Kastrationen
Sterilisationen
Medizinische Eingriffe aller Art
Herzensangelegenheit!
Wir spenden jedes Jahr mehrmal an diverse Tierschutzorganisationen, leider sind unsere spenden nur ein Tropfen auf den heissen Stein weshalb wir diese Gelegenheit nutzen möchten um das Leid der Tiere etwas zu lindern und Xenii und Martin zu unterstützen. Gerade in dieser schweren Zeit wo es Volunteers aus dem Ausland nicht möglich ist nach Guatemala zu reisen möchten wir unseren Teil beitragen und helfen!

Die Spendenaktion wird bis Mitte März 2021 laufen, dann ist der Zieleinlauf in Hamburg und wir hoffen, dass wir so viel Geld sammeln konnten, dass die Tiere damit für viele Wochen und Monate versorgt werden können.

As a participant of the Baltic Sea Circle Rally 2021 we not only want to experience a great adventure, but also support a great project to help.
Who is the Animal Aware Guatemala?
During one of our trips we helped the animal welfare organization Animal Aware in Guatemala. The founders Xenii and Martin shelter about 300 street dogs and 80 cats as well as some horses and donkeys that were neglected by their owners and were close to starvation. Xenii and Martin founded Animal Aware in the late 1970s and have dedicated their entire lives to animals ever since. It is an unbelievable achievement to show this perseverance over the years and to fight for the good cause every day anew.

Who is Happy Tails?
On our trip to Romania in 2020 we had to see many street dogs, one of them was a 6 weeks old puppy which was obviously abandoned at a resting place. We have taken him to us and mediated him on our own initiative in Germany. Later we became aware of Andra Maria from Happy Tails in Brasov. She cares for street dogs in Romania and urgently needs donations to cover the costs of the most necessary things.

What is the money for?
There is a lack of money in every corner and one is dependent on donations and/or volunteers to feed the animals and to ensure the urgently needed medical care. Your donations will be used for:
Food
Medicine
Castrations
Sterilizations
Medical interventions of all kinds
A matter of the heart!
We donate each year several times to various animal protection organizations, unfortunately our donations are only a drop in the ocean why we would like to use this opportunity to alleviate the suffering of the animals and support Xenii and Martin and Andra Maria. Especially in these difficult times when it is not possible for volunteers from abroad to travel to Guatemala, we want to do our part and help!
Duration of the donation campaign!
The fundraising campaign will run until mid-March 2021, then the finish line will be in Hamburg and we hope that we have been able to collect enough money to provide the animals with food for many weeks and months.
