HERMIDA FAMILY Hurricane Maria Fund

Hello! My name is Rita Hermida of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and my sisters Awilda and Carmen Hermida live in  Aguada, Puerto Rico. Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico on September 20th, 2017 as a Category 4 Hurricane. Everyone on the island lost electricity and running water on that day. Our Sisters, nieces and nephews in Aguada have not seen any help from any Government  Agency.  As of September 28th, 2017 our family in Aguada is still without running water and power and is living day to day by finding food from local providers when availble. There is no gasoline in our town of Aguada and they don’t even have enough gas to get to other towns that have very little available. They have lost alot due to the high winds & flooding of their homes & cars.

We are trying to raise money to help them out directly as soon as we are able to find a way to get funds to them. We are even possibly trying to get them off the island until they are able to have access to supplies that are needed to survive.

We are asking our family and friends to help us raise money for our family in Puerto Rico. We greatly appreciate anything and everything you are able to give and understand if you are not able to help. Please help us by sharing this with your family and friends as well. Thank you!
