Herman Helmer's Medical Fund

This is Herman Helmer Jr. He is 64 years old. He is the oldest of 17 brothers and sisters. Herman has been a commercial fisherman his entire adult life. A minor stroke last year forced him to early retirement. October 5, 2014, Herman endured 2 major strokes and multiple mini strokes during the time he was in the hospital. He is left with many neurological challenges including minimal use of his left side. He will remain in the hospital until November 6, 2014. We are trying to raise money for current medical expenses as well as any future medical expenses  due to the strokes. He will also need around the clock care upon release from the hospital.
