Help Vee Fight Cancer

A few weeks ago, my family was given the devastating news that my Aunt Vee, also known as Roni, was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. I'm doing this page, to not only try to help her with all the bills that come with fighting cancer, but also as a thank you not only from myself, but also from everyone that she has ever helped or touched in her life.

            You see, the thing about my Aunt is that no matter how busy she was, what she had going on, she always found the time and energy to help other people. I've seen her donate countless hours of her life, to help raise money for the American Cancer Society, Autism Speaks and several other charities, all to try to help better the lives of people that she loved. On a personal level, I can honestly say that she has truly inspired me as to how I want to live my life and I am blessed to her have as my Aunt.

            No one who hasn't had a loved one go through cancer, ever truly understand the total cost of doing so. Everyone knows of the outrageous medical bills, but no one really takes into consideration how the patient will pay for their other living expenses. How do they continue to pay for their mortgage, or food, or just other basic living expenses when they are unable to work due to the treatment they are receiving. This doesn't even take into account, the mental anguish and stress that accompanies seeing all of these bills racking up, while fighting to stay alive. 

             My mom and I, already can see the stress about bills starting to weigh on her mind, when all she needs to truly focus on is getting healthy. I'm hoping that this page, will help to alleviate some of these bills and stress. Please help me, help her. All donations, no matter how small are greatly appreciated, and I know that my Aunt will greatly appreciate everything.
