Allen Feaster (Center) Fought to Close Youth Prisons, Now He's Fighting Cancer


Hello to all of  Allen's Family,  Friends,  fellow activist and future donors:

I am Allen Feaster's  Wife Terry O'Neal-Feaster (Best friend and partner &-"He calls me His  Queen").  I am humbly writing to you today because  "We need your  help to help save Allen's  life.   He has tried to fight this BEAST -Cancer with conventional methods-(Life-threatening) chemo for over a year now with life-altering effects  BUT Allen wants to beat stage 4  pancreatic cancer for good.  Can you please help?

Unfortunately recently Allen  lost His ability to work at all and was recently put on disability by His doctor because of major hurting, swollen hands and feet, debilitating stomach flu-like symptoms, exhaustion and major weight loss (45 lbs) caused by the awful multiple chemo treatments.     This was a major blow & setback as Allen loves to work and to provide for His Queen/Family.

Allen is one of the founding members of Families for Books Not Bars, a statewide network of families of youth incarcerated in California’s youth prisons. Allen’s eighteen-year old son Durrell died inside the Preston Youth Correctional Facility, and Allen turned the pain and questions surrounding his son’s death outward, becoming a fierce advocate for all children locked inside California’s youth prison system and helping to expose the rampant human rights violations they faced. Allen’s hard work with Families for Books Not Bars led to five California youth prisons shutting down and a drastic reduction in the state’s youth prison population.

My King and Best Friend (The King & Queen)

What Happened
Sadly,  you may now know that My King and best friend  is now in for the fight of His life to beat Stage IV pancreatic cancer (One of most deadly, most aggressive and fastest growing type of cancer).  Out of nowhere, during a normal scheduled medical screening and then a follow-up biopsy it was discovered there were multiple tumors with a devastating diagnosis of "inoperable Stage IV pancreatic cancer".  After we received the shocking diagnosis that day from the oncologist and heard the words "Allen You have stage 4 inoperable pancreatic cancer with metastasis to the liver".  The sudden utter of those words made both Allen and I slump slowly to the floor crying and reaching for each others hand.  How could this happen?  When it was always communicated from His examinations and doctor's that he was very healthy; Now to hear stage IV pancreatic cancer!   Well to find out that pancreatic cancer is most often found in the later stages because of the location-hidden behind the major large organs and also often pancreatic cancer as in Allen's case often show no symptoms.

BUT THERE IS HOPE AND WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP!  There is a Scientific -Breakthrough called Immuno-theraphy that Allen urgently needs.
